The first meet-up of a new group for women working in the heat pump sector will take place in the elemental lounge at InstallerSHOW later this month.
The Women in Heat Pumps group was set up on LinkedIn by Nicola Lazenby (Heat Pump Ready Programme Lead, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero) at the IEA 14th Heat Pump Conference. It is for women around the world working in the heat pump sector or looking to start or pivot their career in this area.
Please do send a request to join the LinkedIn group and start connecting with other women in the heat pump sector.
The informal meet-up at InstallerSHOW is at 11:45am on 27th June at the NEC, in the elemental lounge. You can RSVP to ldixon@lyricalcomms.com or simply turn up on the day.
Attendees will be able to meet fellow group members, find out about the group’s plans and also get suggestions on great heat pump content at the show, including the Heat Pump Ready feature.
Heat Pump Ready is a major innovation programme funded through the Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) which is delivered by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
The programme is supporting the development of novel solutions to transform the market for heat pumps in the UK, with many of the projects in the spotlight at InstallerSHOW from 27 to 29 June at the NEC in Birmingham.
A dedicated Heat Pump Ready area at InstallerSHOW will give delegates the opportunity to interact with the developers of the innovations, which include a range of new tools, technologies and business models designed to reduce heat pump costs, optimise performance, improve the customer journey and minimise household disruption.
Just some of the heat pump brands exhibiting at InstallerSHOW: Panasonic, NIBE, Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Stiebel Eltron, Viessmann, Grant, Ideal Heating, Samsung and Baxi.
Further details about Heat Pump Ready at InstallerSHOW will be released ahead of the show which runs 27th to 29th June. Free registration is open now at installershow.com
