The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has committed to net zero by 2040 and the grocery sector produces the biggest share of retail’s carbon emissions. Reducing the energy used by individual shops and stores is one way to tackle this, and our panel will consider ways that grocery retailers can make improvements by cutting the energy demand in their buildings.
