Register to attendIt has become clear that HVACR, energy and engineering feature a significant number of workers with dyslexia and other forms of ‘neurodiversity’.
The problem-solving nature of working in technical disciplines attracts people who ‘think differently’ and allows them apply their particular skills and ways of thinking.
A number of people with dyslexia describe it as a ‘superpower’ that enables them to succeed through their different approach to problems.
But at the same time, this difference in approach can lead to being held back if not understood properly, so it is vital that employers, fellow workers and customers learn to accommodate and encourage the way their neurodiverse colleagues work.
This special webinar for Dyslexia Awareness Week will focus on the issues around ‘neuro-inclusion’ and will discuss both the challenges and the opportunities for those who think differently – and those who work with them – with first-hand experience from those working in the industry.
