InstallerSHOW and elemental are delighted to be working with the Midlands Net Zero Hub as part of our 2023 event, taking place 27 to 29 June at the NEC in Birmingham.

Midlands Net Zero Hub will have a space at the show to showcase its work to support the Net Zero agenda in the region and beyond, and will also be hosting meetings with key stakeholders. The organisation will also be involved in some of the panel discussions taking place within the elemental theatres.

Michael Gallagher, Head of Midlands Net Zero Hub, said:

We are really looking forward to attending the InstallerSHOW for the first time. We are hoping to connect with stakeholders from local authorities and industry experts who could work with us to accelerate progress to achieve Net Zero.

In our experience, carving out time to meet people from organisations working on the net zero agenda to share best practice and lessons learned is invaluable. Net Zero cannot be achieved in isolation or with siloed working, which is why events like this where we can all come together to identify potential collaborative opportunities are vital.

The Midlands Net Zero Hub is part of a network of five Local Net Zero hubs across England. It is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as part of the government’s clean growth strategy and is hosted by Nottingham City Council.

Lucy Dixon, Head of Content at elemental, said:

We’re so impressed with the work carried out and supported by Midlands Net Zero Hub and really looking forward to finding out more about it at the show this year.

InstallerSHOW 2023 will feature hundreds of exhibitors, with technologies and solutions on display from across the energy, water, heat and air industries. There will be experts on hand to explain how these solutions might fit within building retrofit projects and newbuild schemes, and help to overcome the challenges facing the built environment as it strives to meet carbon reduction targets.

There is also an extensive content programme, with two elemental theatres focused on decarbonising all buildings, from social housing to hospitals. Hosts and speakers include Gary Neville, Lucy Siegle, Roger Harrabin, Ed Gillespie, Esther McVey, Anne Davies, Rachel England and Jess Shanahan.
