Building Safety Forum to take place at InstallerSHOW

On Wednesday 26th June, the Building Safety Forum will take place at InstallerSHOW at the NEC, Birmingham.

The introduction of The Building Safety Act has wide-reaching implications for all parts of the supply chain, but perhaps the biggest impact of all will be on the installer – and adapting to the repercussions will likely take years.

With this in mind, InstallerSHOW has joined forces with Building a Safer Future and the Code for Construction Product Information to stage an informative networking opportunity.

To deliver the volume of homes and buildings needed in the UK, to the standards required under the Building Safety Act, requires a whole supply chain approach, and a cultural shift in how we build. The Building Safety Forum will bring the key players in the supply chain together at a vital time, to share the learnings acquired after four months of experience with the Act. Best practice case studies will be presented from BSF champion housebuilders and contractors.

There will also be insights into how all components of the supply chain, from specifier to installer, must collaborate to ensure the sector delivers on the vision set out by Dame Judith Hackitt, author of the Building a Safer Future report.

This event will feature a line-up of guest speakers providing insight into the most recent Building Safety Act developments, and plenty of opportunity to network.
